Once again, the foliage throughout New England offers us a brilliant display of color. Our mornings are becoming crisp as the days get shorter and soon the daily temperatures will drop and the holiday season will arrive. This means freezing temperatures and winter weather are not far off. NSC wants you, our customers, to know that we will be adding a brine solution to our office trailer equipment and portable restroom units this November to prevent freeze-ups of our units. We will keep this solution in our units throughout the winter season.

Freezing temperatures during the winter can present unique conditions on your construction site where employee safety needs to be at the forefront of project management. Mobile restrooms are in high demand this time of year from outdoor autumn weddings to u-pick farms, to kids sporting events. It seems we often find ourselves using these facilities and needing to rent them as well. There are many styles of portable restrooms from standard, non-flushing portable restrooms to the more extravagant flushing units, to top of the line portable restroom trailers. All your customers needs can be met with the various systems that are offered out there. Fall festivals are in full swing, and if you find yourself in need of renting mobile restrooms do some research and call around.

The price of the unit is not the only thing that matters, and for this type of commodity, you do not want to purchase on price alone. Often times the lowest price means just that. You get what you pay for, and if you want comfort and cleanliness and customer satisfaction, other elements must come into play.

• How is the customer service of the sanitation company?
• How often do they service their units?
• What do the units come supplied with?
• Does the mobile restroom company make emergency calls, and what is the procedure for an emergency?
• Does the company offer portable sinks as well or extra sanitizer?
• If you need a restroom trailer, can they supply a generator or a water source if your venue can not accommodate that?

I went to a beautiful outside wedding this weekend and the bride got Portable Restroom Trailers for her event. There were four individual bathrooms, three were unisex, and one was for men only. The restrooms were so beautiful, that they were the talk of the wedding. Each restroom has wood floors, beautifully painted walls (each restroom was a different color), great lighting, vanities, running water, a porcelain sink, music, and air conditioning. It was 90 degrees in Maine on Sunday and so many times I heard guests say, “I am going to cool off in the portable restroom”. ?” It is not often that one has guests who actually want an excuse to go the portable toilet.  Throughout the event you could hear people saying “have you seen the porta potties? But there was another aspect to the restrooms that was an added treat. They each had a tv where the bride was displaying photos of the rehearsal dinner from the night before.
