As Ivy League football teams go, there is no better match up than Harvard and Yale. This football rivalry has been going on for years. This weekend, the televised Yale vs Harvard game promises to be very exciting as the long standing ivy league rivals battle it out in their 127th meeting! And NSC restrooms will be at Harvard Stadium providing restroom trailer for all the fans.
This football rivalry began in 1875, with The Yale Bulldogs leading the Crimson 65-53-8 heading into their 127th meeting but Harvard has won eight of the last nine. Both Yale and Harvard have experienced quarter backs that played in last year's season finale and both can put points on the board quickly. However, they are facing defenses accustomed to creating turnovers and making big plays. Both have fast running backs who have ranked second and third respectively among Ivy rushers. Harvard head coach Tim Murphy states, “Besides the rivalry, we have a lot to play for. For our seniors, it is a rare opportunity to go 4-0 against Yale, which would be a tremendous accomplishment. Our program has a chance to have our 10th straight 7-win season which our players take great pride in. We have so much respect for Yale, their players, their coaches, the rivalry. This is our bowl game every year. Our kids are really jacked up for this. Our coaches are (as well) and frankly, it couldn't come at a better time coming off the loss at Penn.”
Kickoff is this Saturday at 12 noon. If you are one of the lucky ones who are able to attend, wear you crimson or your blue, and be glad NSC restrooms has been invited.
